Children in Need

As I’m sure you’re all aware from the yellow fluffy ears people grew and Terry Wogan seeming to have set up home in your TV, last Friday was Children in Need day! Our Year 7 and Year 8 Girls Clubs did their bit by making badges and icing biscuits to sell to teachers and pupils at lunchtime in Langdon Park School. The girls got very creative making the badges at our clubs over the 2 weeks leading up to the day. Then a group came out of lesson on the day to help see how many biscuits they could ice in 50 minutes! Apparently not enough for the Langdon Park pupils who bought us out in about 15 minutes. The badges were popular too and had also gone by the end of lunch. Thanks to our excellent creative and sales teams and the generosity of Langdon Park teachers and pupils we made £30. Well done everyone!!
