Hello!! My name is Sarah and I’m doing a placement this year with Canaan Project as part of my university degree studying Education with Psychology. I’m new to London and have only been here about a month - so please do let me know if you have any top recommendations for things I should do or see! (particularly food related… that’s a favourite of mine).
As well as food, I also love craft, baking, and dancing, so I’m keen to bring some of this to Girls’ Club this year. I’m so excited to be doing all of this with young women, and to be a part of such a great project that invests in them and their confidence. So often in our society young women are overlooked, but I really believe that every young woman is truly incredible and has a big part to play in our world – plus they’re just so much fun to be around! This is why I’m so looking forward to spending time at Canaan Project this year and joining in with all of the brilliant things they get up to.
