Message from a Student Volunteer

I have been working with Canaan Project as a student volunteer for a month now and have had an amazing time. I have met inspiring young women and staff who have made my experience at Canaan even more incredible than I had thought. I have also learnt so much being at Canaan as they use many creative ways to give the young women different experiences that they can learn from. During the sessions there are many fun activities but it gives the girls a space were they can be their self and were they can come to if they need advice. Talking and sharing my experiences with girls has helped me to create wonderful bonds with them and also has taught me many new skills. I am always happy and always laughing when I am around the girls. They make my day and i would highly recommend becoming a volunteer.
